Saurimo – A 40-year-old citizen, resident in the Nhama neighborhood, municipality of Saurimo, Province of Lunda-Sul, committed suicide in the early hours of this Thursday, after killing four children aged between 6 and 14 years.
The information was provided to the press by the head of the section of the institutional communication office of the provincial command of the National Police in Lunda-Sul, Alegria Flay, highlighting that investigations are underway to clarify the reasons that led the citizen, whose identity was not revealed, to go ahead with such a decision.
He made it known that the citizen had been divorced from his wife for six months and lived with his four children. This is the first case of its kind registered in Lunda-Sul. EM/JW/HD/CF/DOJ
