Luanda – The Local Development Institute (FAS) has provided professional internships from 2021 to date to roughly 553 citizens, including university students and graduates to help them acquire work experience.
The information was given Friday by FAS social safeguards specialist, Helena Faria, in Luanda Province.
She was speaking to ANGOP during the second public presentation conference of internship experiences implemented by the institution.
At the time, the official recalled that FAS created in 2021, a project of community initiatives and dialogue with universities, with the aim of guaranteeing professional skills for university students and graduates in the country's various higher education institutions.
“We currently have partnerships with 47 public and private institutions from the country's 18 provinces and the projects last six months and can last up to a year. Under this programme, we have already recruited 24 technicians”, she highlighted.
The conference aimed to share experiences among interns, within the scope of the several social development projects promoted by FAS.
