Cuito - The Pentecostal Assembly of God Church in Angola reaffirmed Saturday, in the city of Cuito, Bié province, its ongoing partnership with the government, in the moralization of the faithful and the population in general, for the preservation of public heritage.

The confirmation comes from the legal representative of the Pentecostal Assembly of God Church (ADP) in Angola, Reverend Francisco Domingos Sebastião, who spoke at the end of the audience hosted by the governor of Bié, Celeste Adolfo.

For him, vandalism of public heritage represents a social deviation in society, therefore, the church, as a moral reserve of society and a partner of the state, will continue to work with communities to discourage the “phenomenon”, which tends to compromise peace and the social, economic and cultural development of families.

He praised the efforts of the provincial government in implementing projects with a socio-economic impact, which are improving the supply of drinking water, electricity and other services to the population.

In addition to investing in the recovery of values, for next year, the church plans to implement literacy projects, incentives for agricultural activity and other income-generating projects in the province of Bié, to contribute to improving the quality of life of the faithful and the population in general.

During his stay, the cleric ordained 420 deacons, 160 evangelists and 60 others who were transferred to workers.

For three days in the province of Bié, Reverend Domingos Francisco Sebastião, in addition to Cuito, has already worked in the municipalities of Andulo and Chinguar.

The governor of Bié, Celeste Adolfo, praised the partnership with the Pentecostal Assembly of God church in Angola, assuring that the government will always be “open” to dialogue, for the implementation of projects that help the psychological, social and economic well-being of families.

Governor Celeste Adolfo considered the relations with this church and others to be healthy, hoping for an even stronger relationship, with the aim of continuing to ensure peace, unity, development and the well-being of families.
