Malanje- The provincial governor of Malanje, Norberto dos Santos, acknowledged, Thursday, the contribution of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the World "Tocoist" in the rescue of the moral values, aiming at building a healthy society.
The governor made this acknowledgement during the opening of the 3rd edition of the Festival of Choral Singing and Tocoist Sacred Music, known as "Nkembo", which brings together, until Saturday, worshippers from the provinces of Malanje, Cabinda, Benguela, Uíge, Cuanza Norte, Luanda, Cuanza Sul, Huíla, Bié, Cunene, Namibe and Huambo.
According to Norberto dos Santos, besides its intervention in the rescue of good habits, the Tocoist church has been assuming itself as an important partner of the State in the accomplishment of social projects in favour of the communities, with focus on actions in the education sector.
On his turn, the leader of the Tocoist Church, Dom Afonso Nunes, reiterated the continuous engagement of the congregation in favour of the most needy citizens, despite the constraints imposed by Covid-19.
