Huambo - The governor of Huambo province, Lotti Nolika, said Monday that municipal and communal administrators should pay more attention to the problems of the communities, focusing on more interactive, dynamic and local management.
The governor was speaking during the delivery of new means of transport to municipal and communal administrators, with the purpose of facilitating access to the most distant communes and villages of this region of the Central Plateau.
Lotti Nolika underlined that the verification "in loco" of the socio-economic situation of the communities, as well as the permanent consultation with the citizens allows the identification, in the best possible way, of the problems they face, with the perspective of solving them together.
"Now, with these resources, by the way, all over the field, there are no more excuses for not implementing proximity governance, which consists, above all, of dialogue and consultation with the population, in order to get to know the most precarious areas they still face," she exhorted.
At the same time, the governor handed over seven three-wheeled motorbikes to strengthen basic sanitation in the city of Huambo and its surroundings.
