Cuito – A total of 573.5 million kwanzas is the amount that private companies in Bié province owe to the National Social Security Institute (INSS), as part of compulsory employee contributions.
According to the head of the National Social Security Services in Bié, Teresa Sapalo, the amount has been accumulating over the last 10 years underlining that there are a total of 712 companies in debt, out of the 2,940 private institutions controlled in Bié province.
Teresa Sapalo said that during this period, 188 employers were notified, which enabled the INSS to collect 293.3 million kwanzas.
In Bié province, the services of the National Social Security Institute still monitor 8, 47 pensioners and 66,604 insured workers. AS/PLB/TED/AMP
