Cabinda – The Alamir-Lda general director, Kamal Allao, announced on Monday that the company he heads intends to invest in the Angolan northern province of Cabinda, in the civil construction and basic sanitation sectors in the near future.
Speaking to the press, after a meeting with the governor of Cabinda, Suzana de Abreu, the businessman said that his company intends to invest around US$200 million in the four municipalities that make up the region.
He explained that Alamir-Lda, in partnership with its partners, is willing to disburse the aforementioned amount with an interest rate estimated at 2%, depending on the nature and complexity of each project to be implemented in the municipalities of this province.
“Our actions are mainly involved in civil construction, modernization and basic sanitation. But we do not rule out the possibility of investing in other sectors such as agriculture, livestock and fisheries, to boost the socioeconomic development of this region further north of Angola”, he stressed.
The company Alamir-Lda has existed for around 25 years in Ponta Negra, Republic of Congo and develops activities in the fields of civil engineering, modernization, basic sanitation, among others.
