Huambo- The national coordinator for Public Health Promotion, Maria Futi Tati, said on Friday the humanization of medical services and the expansion of the country's health network must be promoted to provide quality medical care to the population.
The official made the statement during the closing ceremony of the Regional Training Cycle of the Health Promotion Ecosystem, which trained 55 supervisors of Bié, Benguela, Cuanza Sul and Huambo, focusing on medical emergency preparedness.
Maria Futi Tati explained that the humanization of medical services will be boosted by synchronizing the health promotion system in the country's 18 provinces to reduce the asymmetries in public service in the communities and allow citizens to travel long distances to access medical assistance.
The training session covered topics related to communication techniques in the emergency context, the methodology for sharing information about the vaccine with communities, the "Zero Malaria Starts with Me" campaign, the tuberculosis action plan, monitoring tools and other health promotion issues.
