Luanda - Hundreds of health professionals have been flocking since the early hours of this Saturday to Kilamba town's multi-purpose pavilion, to get vaccinated themselves against the newcoronavirus.
In this first phase of the campaign, the Executive intends to l vaccinate about 20% of the Angolan population, totaling just over 6. 4 million people with continuous exposure, such as health professionals, people in the social services and members of public order and security, as well as people with risky morbidities aged 40 or over.
Angola received, on Tuesday, 624k doses of vaccine against Covid-19, within the framework of the Covax Initiative.
After Luanda, the process will cover professionals in the provinces of Cabinda and Benguela.
