Luanda - The Ministry of Health (MINSA) and the Economic Commission of the Central African States (ECCAS) exchanged, last Wednesday, experience on knowledge about the control and response to Covid-19.

With a workshop, ECCAS seeks to promote cooperation, strengthening and regional integration in Central Africa in all areas.
During the workshop, the contingency plan, case management, experience in public and private treatment centres, experience in monitoring and responding to Covid-19 in member states were presented.
The experience in handling Covid-19 cases was also tackled.
The members of ECCAS, who were engaged in this work for seven days, made a positive assessment of the visit.
During their stay in Angola they received information about the response actions in the control of the pandemic, visited the labs, treatment and quarantine centres, as well as the National Directorate of Public Health.
ECCAS comprises Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Rwanda, São Tomé-Príncipe and Chad.
