Luanda - The multinational oil company "Chevron", based in the United States of America, will sponsor the equipping of three hospital Units, still under construction, in the province of Huambo, in an initiative by Medical Bridge.

The fact is expressed in a press release, sent to ANGOP on Tuesday (Nov 12), according to which the equipment appears under the terms of an agreement signed on Oct 28, witnessed by the Consul-General of Angola in Houston, Texas, Ana Paula do Nascimento and Vice-Consul, Silvia da Cruz.

The document indicates that, under the same agreement, it is planned to send 3 40-foot containers, with several medical equipment and essential supplies to strengthen the health system in the province of Huambo.

In addition to providing medical equipment, the partnership includes a commitment to training local health professionals, reinforcing the sustainable and lasting development of communities.

The program is part of the social responsibility and commitment of these entities to humanitarian aid and social development, in partnership with the Consulate General of Angola in Houston, Texas.

Medical Bridge, an organization dedicated to improving health conditions in developing regions, led the collection and shipment of medical materials.

Chevron, with a strong presence in Angola, supports this initiative as part of its ongoing partnership with the Angolan Executive, contributing to the strengthening of the health infrastructure and the well-being of local communities.

With this donation, Chevron reaffirms its commitment to the progress of Angolan communities, highlighting the importance of international partnerships in responding to global health and infrastructure challenges.

This gesture represents not only concrete support, but also the strengthening of ties between Angola and organizations working towards a healthier and more sustainable future.
