Ondjiva - The Cunene provincial governor, Gerdina Didalelwa, today reinforced the appeal for the need for the observance of biosecurity measures against Covid-19 and the adherence to vaccination posts.
Speaking at a meeting with the community of Cassueca, Cuvelai municipality, Gerdina Didalelwa said that in order to contain cases of the pandemic, it is necessary that the population complies with the norms established by the health authorities, as it constitutes a fundamental pillar for the preservation of health.
In the same vein, she encouraged the population to adhere to the vaccination posts, so as to be immunised against the disease.
"We believe that, although insufficient, the vaccine has already reached Cubati and we want to appeal to everyone to get the vaccine, reminding that the reduction of Covid-19 cases in the country will only be possible with everyone's participation in this fight," she said.
Gerdina Didalelelwa stressed that the Angolan government made an effort in the acquisition of vaccines, in order to immunize over 60 percent of the population, for this reason the citizens can get the vaccine without fear in order to be prevented.
