Luanda - Angolan specialist in neurovision Severina Ngueve Sousa Saturday in Madrid, Spain, opened the Optician Visual Center to assist patients with visual and hearing impairments
The centre was inaugurated by the Angolan ambassador to the Spain, Alfredo Dombe, and will provide optometry, contactology (contact lenses) and auditory (ear problems) consultations.
Severina Ngueve Sousa said it is a result of a dream that began in 2019 with the authorisation from the Ministry of Health and the Spanish Community.
A specialist in Paediatric Optometry and Visual Therapy, Severina Ngueve Sousa added that the objective is to train and treat all the people facing vision and hearing problems.
In turn, the ambassador Alfredo Dombe congratulated the Angolan specialist on the work and persistence of the challenge, which benefits Angolans and Spanish citizens.
Severina Gueve Sousa was born in Angola’s central Huambo province and is graduated in Optics and Optometry from the Complutense University of Madrid.VM/MRA/NIC
