Sumbe - Angolan health authorities announced 213 recoveries and one dead of Covid-19 in the latest 24 hours.
The statistics were released by the State Secretary for Public Health, Franco Mufinda.
Speaking from the coastal Cuanza Sul province on Monday, Mufinda also announced 50 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
According to him, 26 cases were detected in the provinces of Zaire, 9 in Luanda, 9 in Huambo, 3 in Benguela, while the provinces of Cabinda, Malanje and Huila with one each.
As for the recoveries, the State Secretary said that 121 occurred in Luanda, 43 in Cuanza Sul, 29 in Benguela and 20 in Huambo.
Angola has so far totaled 64,724 cases, 1,721 deaths, 60,222 recoveries and 2,774 active patients.
