Luanda - At least 676 patients recovered, 504 new cases and 7 deaths, is the balance reported Wednesday by Angolan health authorities.
Among the recovered patients, according to the daily bulletin, 163 reside in Luanda, 129 in Uige, 97 in Benguela, 92 in Huambo, 89 in Namibe, 36 in Moxico, 31 in Cuando Cubango, 28 in Bié, 9 in Huíla and 2 in Lunda Sul.
As for the new cases, the report states, 289 were registered in Luanda, 72 in Cabinda, 45 in Namibe, 26 in Huila, 24 in Zaire, 14 in Cuando Cubango, 8 in Huambo, 7 in Bié, 6 in Benguela, 6 in Moxico, 3 in Lunda Norte, 3 in Lunda Sul and 1 in Uige.
The list includes 310 male and 194 female patients, whose ages range from 4 months to 86 years.
In the last 24 hours, 3,069 samples were processed by RT-PCR, with a positivity rate of 16.4 percent.
The deaths occurred in the provinces of Benguela, with 2, Cuando Cubango, with 2, Huila with 2 and Namibe with 1, respectively.
Angola has a cumulative total of 94,779 confirmed cases, of which 7,299 are active, 1,877 have died and 85,603 have been recovered.
Of the active cases, six are critical, 31 serious, 47 moderate, 50 light and 7 165 asymptomatic.
In the treatment centres, 134 patients are hospitalised, while 90 are in institutional quarantine.
