Luanda . Angola has detected 276 new positive cases of Covid-19, two deaths and 15 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the Health minister announced Saturday evening in Luanda.
Speaking to journalists during the daily Covid-19 media briefing, minister Sílvia Lutucuta said that of the above mentioned new cases, 245 have been detected in Luanda.
According to the minister, 17 in Cuando Cubango (southeast), eight in Huambo (centre), three in Benguela (centre), one in Bengo,(north) one in Cuanza Norte (north) and one in Uíge (north)..
Among the new patients, with ages from five months to 83 years, 150 are males and 126 females.
As to those recovered, seven come from Cuando Cubango, five from Luanda and three from Huambo.
The dead are Angolan nationals from the capital Luanda.
Angola’s current statistics show 28.477 positive cases, 630 deaths, 24.713 recoveries and 3.134 active patients.
