Luanda - The health authorities announced today, Tuesday, the registration of 100 new cases, 4 deaths and 1,029 recovered patients.
According to the daily report, 27 cases were diagnosed in Luanda, 23 in Moxico, 17 in Cunene, 11 in Huila, , 8 in Lunda Sul, 5 in Benguela, 5 in Zaire, 3 in Huambo and 1 in Namibe.
With ages ranging from 3 to 82 years old, the list contains 57 men and 43 women.
The deaths were registered in the provinces of Lunda Sul, Namibe and Luanda.
As for the recovered patients, 943 reside in Luanda, 43 in Cunene, 13 in Benguela, 12 in Zaire, 9 in Huambo, 4 in Huila, 2 in Bengo, 1 in Cabinda, 1 in Lunda Sul and 1 in Namibe.
Laboratories have processed 2,373 samples.
The authorities control 161 people in institutional quarantine centres, 809 under epidemiological surveillance and 149 patients in treatment centres.
Angola has 43,020 positive cases, with 1,022 deaths, 39,389 recovered and 2,609 active. Of those active, 7 are critical, 14 severe, 89 moderate, 39 mild and 2,460 asymptomatic.
