Luanda - The health authorities have registered, in the last 24 hours, 10 deaths, 165 recoveries and 220 patients with Covid-19, the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda said today.
Speaking at a press conference to present the new measures of the Presidential Decree on Public Disaster Situation, which comes into force on Sunday, he said that the deaths, of five men and five women aged between 21 and 70 years old, had been registered three in Huila, two in Lunda Norte, one in Bié, one in Cunene, one in Huambo, one in Lunda Sul and one in Moxico.
The new cases 60 live in Luanda, two in Lunda Norte, 10 in Cunene, 16 in Moxico, 10 in Huambo, 67 in Huila, 19 in Lunda Sul, four in Namibe, two in Benguela, one in Cabinda, six in Bié, six in Cuanza Sul, one in Uige, 15 in Zaire and one in Malanje, aged between 9 months and 70 years.
A total of 165 people were recovered, aged between 1 and 88, 60 of whom were in Lunda Norte, 35 in Cunene, 24 in Cuando Cubango, 12 in Moxico, 11 in Huambo, seven in Huila, 12 in Benguela, two in Bié and two in Luanda.
The laboratories processed 3,284 samples.
Angola has 43,489 positive cases, 1,042 deaths, 40,012 recovered and 2,435 active. Of the active 9 are critical, 12 severe, 69 moderate, 31 mild and 2,314 asymptomatic.
