Luanda - The health authorities announced on Saturday the record of 66 new infections, 19 recovered patients and one dead in the last 24 hours.
The clinical bulletin indicates that, amongst the new cases, 53 were diagnosed in Luanda, 6 in Cabinda, 2 in Cuanza Sul, 2 in Cuando Cubango, 1 in Benguela, 1 in Bié and 1 in Uíge.
Amongst the new cases, whose ages range from 2 to 80 years, are 23 men and 43 women.
According to the health bulletin, of those recovered, 17 live in Luanda, 1 in Lunda Sul and 1 in Moxico.
The death, according to the medical bulletin, was registered in Luanda, involving a 66-year-old Angolan citizen.
The general picture for the country shows 22,031 positive cases, with 531 deaths, 20,269 recovered and 1,229 active. Of the active cases, 8 are critical, 7 serious, 38 moderate, 28 light and 1,148 asymptomatic.
There are 81 people in hospitalisation centres, and 37 in institutional quarantine.
The authorities have 1,496 contacts of positive cases under medical surveillance.
