Mbanza Kongo - Angola’s vice President of the Republic Esperança da Costa Tuesday in Mbanza Kongo, northern Zaire province, re-opened the Comandante Bula cultural center, which benefited from face-lift works.
The infrastructure’s rehabilitation works, in charge of MEME-Angola firm, cost USD 3.5 million and were financed by the Angola-LNG company.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the Vice President praised the partnership between the Provincial Government and the Angola-LNG company, saying that this partnership enabled the rehabilitation, expansion, equipment and the modernisation of the infrastructure.
The Vice president said the re-inauguration of the Commander Bula cultural center is part of the Government's strategic policy to diversify cultural products and aimed to promote the practice of sports among the youth.
