Luanda – President João Lourenço Tuesday in Luanda urged Government members to keep the work dynamics, in defiance of the hard time imposed by the Covid-19.

Luanda – President João Lourenço Tuesday in Luanda urged Government members to keep the work dynamics, in defiance of the hard time imposed by the Covid-19.

“We have got to find solutions to the various problems our country is still faced with,” urged the head of State, saying “work cannot stop”.

In a brief speech at the swearing-in of newly appointed Government officials, the President said that in the face of the pandemic, the work is being carried out in very particular conditions, which requires keeping the boost for the best possible results.

During the ceremony, the President swore in Jomo Francisco Isabel de Carvalho Fortunato, as minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment, and José Carvalho da Rocha, as governor of northern Uíge province.

Also sworn-in were Daniel António Rosa and Diakumpuna Sita José, respectively as Angolan ambassador to Singapore, and itinerant ambassador.

The Head of State also invested Apolo Ndinoluenga, in the post of deputy governor of southern Cunene province, and Adjany da Silva Costa, as a Presidential advisor.

Speaking to journalists at the end of the function, the newly invested minister said he will seek to work with the various ministerial departments.
