Menongue - The Secretary General of MPLA, Paulo Pombolo, asked today in Menongue, Cuando Cubango province, militants, sympathisers and friends of the party to mobilise the population to go to the posts of the Single Public Service Desk (BUAP), in order to update their data.
"It is necessary that people know the importance of the unofficial electoral registration, so that in August everyone comes to participate in the general elections," stressed the politician, who was speaking during the inauguration ceremonies of MPLA's communal committee in Missombo and in the Novo neighbourhood, on the outskirts of Menongue.
In Cuando Cubango, 30 BUAPs have been created in the nine municipalities of the province, with 90 technicians that will attend to citizens until next March.
The inaugurations are part of the presentation, this Friday, of MPLA's Political Agenda for 2022.
In Missombo commune, Paulo Pombolo delivered ten animal traction ploughs, twenty fertilizer bags, beans and maize seeds, sprayers, motor cultivators, grinding machines, motor pumps, machetes and wheelbarrows to the rural families of the circumscription, as a way of promoting the agricultural activity.
