Uíge - The President’s State Secretary for State Reform, Pedro Fiete, on Thursday in northern Uíge, defended the adoption of a more liberal, less interventionist and bureaucratic model of public administration, with more dialogue.
Pedro Fiete, who was speaking at the meeting to assess the measures included in the Simplification of Acts and Procedures in Public Administration (Simplifica) project, reaffirmed the need to revolutionize the current public services provision.
Fiete said that in the current context of the digital age and artificial intelligence, the relationship between the administration and individual can no longer be characterized as one of power, without recognizing the rights of the citizen and guarantee of rapid access to public services.
He acknowledged that through the Simplica project, a series of administrative measures and practices have been adopted, aimed at reversing the current picture to achieve a more dialogue-based administration that trusts in the initiatives of individuals.
Pedro Fiete considered the balance of the Simplifica project to be positive over the two years of its implementation, adding that it is already on its second package of measures.NM/JAR/TED/AMP
