Luanda - The Secretary of State for Media Nuno Caldas Albino Thursday pledged to work hard on enhancing and dignifying journalists.
The official made the pledge after taking office, adding that valuing and dignifying the class should be more comprehensive and inclusive.

Nuno Caldas Albino also announced plans for technical and technological modernisation of the media for the next five-year.
"We will continue to improve public institutional communication and look at the sector, paying particular attention to human resources.
In turn, the Secretary of State for Urbanism and Housing, Adérito Mohamed, acknowledged existing deficit in providing residences in the country, and promised to work harder to reduce the difference.
"Our challenge is to look at what is our local response capacity and work with youth, in order to find more balanced solutions for all," he added.
Carlos Pinto de Sousa, Secretary of State for Public Health, said that the guidelines focus, mainly, on the prevention and combat of endemic and epidemic diseases and a greater attention to the maternal-infant segment.
While, the Secretary of State for Youth, Francisco Boaventura Canjongo Chitapa, pointed to the creation of more employment as priority. He also spoke of access to housing and academic and professional training of young people.
"We will also strengthen the Angolan associative movement, as well as develop educational and recreational tasks for youths," he said.
