Luanda - The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, sent a message to his Angolan counterpart, João Lourenço, expressing the friendship and solidarity between the two countries, which was delivered, on Thursday, in New York.
According to press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign affairs, to which ANGOP had access on Saturday, the missive was delivered to the head of Angola diplomacy, Téte António, by his Kyrgyz counterpart, Jeenbek Kulubaev.
On the occasion, the two entities reviewed issues related to bilateral cooperation with a focus on the exchange of visits between both delegations and the need for political consultations between the Angola and Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Affairs Offices.
Kyrgyzstan is a Central Asia Country, a former member of the Old Soviet Union. It borders to the north with Kazakhstan, to the west with Uzbekistan, to the south with Tajikistan and to the east with China. Its capital is Bishkek, the largest city in the country, the document states.
