Luanda – President João Lourenço congratulated, on Tuesday, the National Football Team for qualifying for AFCON2025 in Morocco.
On his X digital platform the statesman highlights the fact that the national team managed to qualify after four games and the same number of victories.
The National team achieved their 4th victory against Niger, by 0-1, in a match in the 4th round of Group F, played in Morocco.
“Four games and four wins is a real achievement. We are in the AFCON of Morocco”, wrote the Angolan President.
For this achievement, he congratulated the players, the coach and the entire technical team, who fought hard and knew how to make the most of their abilities.
“Angola is proud of all of you guys”, highlights João Lourenço in the message.
With two rounds remaining, Angola qualified with 12 points, thus on top of Group F. On the standing Sudan come second with 7 points, Ghana are third with 2 points and Niger 4th and last with one point.
