Luanda – The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, congratulated last Saturday the Angolan Josefa Sacko, on her re-election to the position of African Commissioner for Agriculture, Rural Development, Blue Economy and Sustainable Environment.
In a note, to which ANGOP has had access, the Head of State sends congratulations, on behalf of the Executive and on his own, to the also elected Wilson de Almeida Adão and Pascoal António Joaquim.
Wilson de Almeida Adão was elected as member of the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of Children and the second as member of the African Union Advisory Council on Corruption.
"We are delighted to know that national citizens deserved a positive evaluation for their competence and high qualification, to hold highly relevant positions in prestigious international organizations", reads the note.
Finally, President João Lourenço wishes the three Angolan cadres good work and wishes that they carry out the new functions with pride and a high sense of professionalism, "so that in this way they can dignify the qualities of Angolan cadres in the various branches of knowledge".
