Luanda - Angola’s President João Lourenço Tuesday congratulated the People and Government of Benin on the celebration of the 63rd anniversary of that country’s Independence achieved on August 1.
The Angolan Statesman’s congratulation is expressed in a message sent to his counterpart of Benin, Patrice Talon, having expressed desire to see the countries’ ties permanently strengthened in benefit of the progress of both countries.
In another message, João Lourenço congratulated the people and the Government of Switzerland on National Day commemorated on August 1.
To this purpose, the Angolan head of State sent the message to Ignazio Cassis, the President of the Swiss Confederation, expressing the intention of Angola to develop joint actions with the Swiss authorities, aimed to boost the ties of friendship and cooperation in various fields.
