Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, swore in last Wednesday the Second Commander-General of the National Police (PN), Domingos Ferreira de Andrade, who wished him success in the performance of his duties.
“I would like to take the opportunity to wish you many successes in the performance of these noble and important functions, which you will assume from now on. Best wishes for success and happiness, too, in your personal life” said João Lourenço at the inauguration ceremony, held in the Presidential Palace, in Lunda’s downtown.
In the end of the ceremony, Domingos Ferreira de Andrade expressed his pledge to serve the corporation and assist the Commander-General of the National Police in the strategy to combat crime and ensure greater security for the population.
Chief Commissioner, Domingos Ferreira de Andrade, until his appointment to the new duties, held the position of Inspector-General of the National Police, and replaces Chief Commissioner António Maria Sita in the position.
