The Interministerial Commission, whose mandate is limited to organizing the preparations for the celebrations of the 50th Anniversary of National Independence, includes the Ministers of State for Economic Coordination, José de Lima Massano, and for the Social Area, Dalva Ringote.

The commission also includes the heads of the ministries of National Defence, Former Combatants and Veterans of the Homeland; of the Interior; Foreign Affairs; Finance; the Territorial Administration; Transport and Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication; Education; Culture and Tourism, as well as Youth and Sports.

The head of the State Intelligence and Security Service and the director of the President's Ceremonial are also members of the commission.

The Presidential Order establishes that the commission is supported by a Technical Group, coordinated by the Secretary of State for Territorial Administration, to carry out the related tasks, and is made up of Secretaries of State and equivalent entities indicated by the ministerial departments hereby designated as members.

On the other hand, it determines the creation of multisectoral commissions for the organization of activities at the local level, coordinated, in particular, by provincial governors and municipal administrators.
