Huambo - The chairman of the Angola Bar Association (OAA) in Huambo Province, Domingos Sassi, has called for more rigor from members in the defense of citizens' rights, in favor of compliance with the law.
Domingos Sassi expressed this position during the presentation of 38 new lawyers, who joined 573 others, underlining the need for continued study of the legislation in force in the country to better dignify the profession.
He recommended professionals to be familiar with the workings of the association in order to provide a better service to society, knowing their rights and obligations.
Established in 1996 as a provincial delegation, the Huambo Council of the Angolan Bar Association currently controls 611 lawyers.
