Ondjiva - The ruling MPLA in Cunene province on Saturday reaffirmed its support to the party's President, Joao Lourenco, who is running for his succession, as a guarantor of the execution of policies in favour of the party and the population in general.
The fact was expressed by first provincial secretary of MPLA in Cunene, Gerdina Didalelwa, while speaking at a mass political act, in greeting the 10th provincial conference of balance and renewal, which takes place next weekend.
She stressed that the party militants in Cunene are prepared and will demonstrate this unconditional strength to the MPLA leader during the VIII Ordinary Congress of MPLA, to be held in December.
On the other hand, the partisan official stressed that the organisation, since its genesis, has presented itself as a political force with origin in the masses, therefore its action consists of the constant search for the satisfaction of the Angolan people's needs.
