Luanda – Matters of common interest, in the framework of the co-operation relations between Angola and Ghana, were analysed this Saturday, in Luanda, at a private meeting between the Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, and his Ghana counterpart, John Dramani Manama.
The meeting held in the Presidential Palace, which lasted about one hour, happened in the ambit of the visit of some hours that the Ghanaian Head of State made to Angola.
The politico-diplomatic relations between Angola and Ghana are framed in the historical ties and common interest, particularly in the context of the African Union (AU) and other multilateral organisations. Both countries share the vision to promote peace, sustainable development and regional integration in the African continent.
Angola and Ghana have historical ties that go back to the time of the struggle for African independence and the strengthening of the Pan-African movement.
