Luena - The Single Public Service Counters (BUAP) in Moxico province will be operational again this year, to contribute to the provision of services to citizens, the director of the Office of Registries and Administrative Modernization, Cândido Cangolo said.
According to the public manager, who was speaking Wednesday about the current staff of the office he heads, the stoppage, about two years ago, was due to technical problems that made it impossible to operate and provide public services to citizens.
He said that a survey of the technical equipment has already been carried out, with a view to making the services operational, mainly the issuance of citizen cards and Identity Card, with plans to incorporate other functionalities.
The One-Stop Shop for Public Service (BUAP) was created with the aim of modernizing and improving the provision of public services at the level of the Local Administration Bodies of the State.
The BUAP also aims to implement the unofficial electoral register, collect the data for the issuance of Birth and Death Certificates at the local level and transfer them to the competent body. TC/YD/DOJ
