Zango - The Prime Minister of Portugal António Costa Monday considered the work performed by his country's companies in Angola an excellent example.

António Costa, who was speaking to the press at the end of his visit to two factories located in the Viana Industrial Zone, in Luanda, said the result owed to the possibilities provided by the Angolan Government.

However, he considered the implantation of Portuguese companies in the Angolan market as a "great opportunity whose purpose is to create more jobs".

During the visit to the Industrial Zone of Viana, the Portuguese Head of Government learnt of the operation of the Casais factory, in the construction and real estate sector.

The factory has been operating in Angola for over 25 years and employs over 200,000 workers, mostly Angolans.

Still in Viana Industrial Zone, António Costa visited the Acail Gás company, dedicated to the production of butane gas and established in Angola since 2005, where it has already invested more than 300 million euros.

Acail Gás Group CEO, António Andrade, said that the factory has reduced gas imports and aggregated the supply of the product to the oil industry.

He considered the Prime Minister's visit to Angola "important" because, in his opinion, it will strengthen relations between the two countries.

On Tuesday,  Portuguese Prime Minister visits Banco Caixa Angola, the Fortress of São Francisco do Penedo and the Portuguese School of Luanda.
