Reacting during a meeting with the government of Cunene, on the sidelines of the visit to the Dom Fernando Kevano centre, the Namibian official said her country continues to be indebted to this achievement, which caused the destruction of infrastructure and bloodshed.
The official added that the visit to Cunene will make it possible to present greater strategies for the different branches, walking together towards victory and developing both countries.
Laura McLeod-Katjirua said that perhaps many young people don't know the history, but as adults they must work together in order to leave a better legacy for future generations
Presenting the picture for the construction of the centre, the deputy governor for the Political, Social and Economic sector of Cunene, Apolo Ndinoulenga, said that it was the result of economic, socio-political and military events in the region.
The Angolan official added that as part of the reconstruction process, the Angolan government has decided to build housing projects in various urban centers to restore the infrastructure destroyed during the war and guarantee access to housing.
