Luena - The provincial governor of Moxico, Ernesto Muangala, advocated, Monday, in Luena, the need for the General Inspectorate of State Administration (IGAE) to 'act with prudence' in relation to the complaints it receives about administrative infractions.
Speaking at the opening of a seminar on 'ethics and deontology in Public Administration', promoted by IGAE, he defended the need for this institution to be guided by a correct analysis and interpretation of complaints during inspections, under penalty of violating the fundamental rights of the working class.
According to Muangala, at the provincial level there have been abuses and excessive seizures of arbitrary means and other assets.
'Several complaints are detected that sometimes require a correct analysis and interpretation by the IGAE, because in certain situations they may presuppose false information', he said.
Nevertheless, it believes that there is a need to pay more attention to infringements linked to the protection of the public purse, the lack of strict compliance with the code of ethics in the institutions, contractual breaches resulting from anonymous and selective complaints.
For his part, the Inspector General of State Administration, João Francisco, recalled that the actions of the IGAE must be based on trust, respect and human dignity.
'People are thirsty for justice, for well-being and for dignity, so it is essential to know how to educate and consequently demand it', he said.
The official called on public managers to avoid satisfying personal desires with the use of public goods, but to prioritize the interest of the community and management based on harmony, coherence and good governance. ISAU/TC/YD/DOJ
