Addis Ababa - Angolan head of State João Lourenço Saturday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, performed intense diplomatic activity, with focus on search for peace and bilateral inter-State relations.
In his initiative, the Angolan statesman met with the Presidents of the Central African Republic (CAR) Faustin-Archanje Touadéra, Guinea Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embaló and the minister of Foreign Affairs of Chad, who represented his country’s head of State, Mahamat Déby Itno.
The situation of security and peace in the Central African Republic topped the quadripartite mini-summit in Addis Ababa, which followed another, three-party, recently held in the country's capital, Luanda.
The Angolan Head of State also held other diplomatic meetings with different personalities, who are circumstantially in the Ethiopian capital, also taking part in the African Union Summit.
João Lourenço gathered with his Zambian counterparts, Hakainde Hichilema; Ali Bongo of Gabon; Emmerson Mnangagwa (Zimbabwe) and Charles Michel, President of the European Council and Portuguese Premier António Costa.
