Luanda - The head of Angolan diplomacy, Téte António, highlighted on Wednesday, in Luanda, the role played by Portuguese-speaking African Countries (PALOP) in supporting the liberation process of Angola.
The minister of Foreign Affairs made this statement during an interview with Santomean television (TVS), in reference to the celebrations of the 49th anniversary of Angola's Independence, during which the current state of bilateral relations between Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe was also highlighted.
The interview brought to light historical and current issues about Angola's liberation process, highlighting the fundamental contributions of the diplomatic field to the achievement of national sovereignty.
Téte António recalled the intense struggle and sacrifices made by national heroes who dedicated themselves to the cause of national independence, achieved on November 11, 1975.
The aforementioned team has been in Luanda for a few days to report on the socioeconomic development of the Republic of Angola, at a time when Angola celebrates another anniversary of its independence.
The Santomense Television (TVS) is the main broadcaster in São Tomé and Príncipe and was created in September 1992.
It focuses on the transmission of news, cultural programs, debates and entertainment, with an emphasis on events and topics of national and international interest.
