Luanda - The Angolan ambassador to Ethiopia, Miguel Bembe, received on Wednesday, Jan 22, in Addis Ababa, the director for East Africa of the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), Asfaw Alemayehu.
During the meeting, the CCA's representative, which brings together North American businesspeople who invest in the African continent, presented the organization he head's main objectives.
He also addressed the general lines of the High-Level Dialogue that will take place in Addis Ababa, on the sidelines of the 38th Ordinary Session of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, which will take place February between the 15th and 16th.
The event will aim to promote the 7th US-Africa Business Summit, scheduled for June from 23rd to 27th, in Luanda.
The Angolan diplomat welcomed the work carried out by the Corporate Council on Africa and recommended it to continue working with African countries to promote the sustainable integration of the continent.
He also highlighted, on the occasion, the relevance of the US-Africa partnership.
Created in 1993 in Washington, the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) aims to work with African partners in the fields of trade and promote investments between America and Africa in the sectors of agriculture, industry, finance, among others.
