Luanda - The People's Republic of China will continue to support the efforts of the Angolan Executive, with a view to diversifying the economy and sustainable development, the Chinese Ambassador to the country, Zhang Bin reaffirmed on Wednesday, in Luanda.
According to a press release, the diplomat made this statement after a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, which served to assess the level of cooperation between the two countries.
At the meeting, the interlocutors also addressed issues linked to the strengthening of political and diplomatic, commercial and economic relations.
Angola is China's largest trading partner in Africa, with a total turnover of more than US$24.8 billion.
This partnership is based on equality and mutually advantageous benefits and, in addition, contributes to the development of Angola.
According to the source, ongoing joint projects and the need to continue promoting mutual investments that benefit the people of both countries were also discussed.
