Luanda - An Angolan delegation took part Saturday in the meeting of senior officials in preparation for the Third Session of the Africa-Türkiye Ministerial Review Conference, scheduled for Sunday in Djibouti.
The team was led by the Angolan ambassador to Ethiopia and permanent representative to the African Union, Miguel Bembe.
The agenda for this conference, which is being held within the framework of the Africa-Türkiye Partnership, attended by the Angolan Foreign Affairs minister, Téte António, will analyze the Joint Implementation Report for Africa-Turkey Cooperation of the period 2022 to 2024.
The representatives of Turkey and the African Union will assess the results achieved within the framework of this partnership and some ongoing projects.
It will also analyze the impact of the support provided by Türkiye to the African Union in the Peace and Security field, namely the Peacekeeping Missions in the Central African Republic, UNMISS in the Republic of South Sudan and MONUSCO in the Democratic Republic of Congo during the year 2024.
Cooperation between Africa and Türkiye in the areas of Trade, Investment and Industry, Education, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Health and Migration are also on the agenda of the Ministerial Meeting. ART/TED/AMP
