Luanda - The remains of the musician Teta Lágrimas were buried Saturday at Luanda’s Benfica Cemetery.
The musician died last Tuesday, victim of illness.
Arouse from a family of musicians, with stress to his late brother Teta Lando, Teta Lágrimas excelled in the songs such as "“Essa preta me mata”, “Amor em crise”, “Luanda já foste linda” e “Amizade colorida”.
Abel Lágrimas da Conceição Santos Teta, who was born in the northern province of Zaire, started his career in 1974, imitating, at the time, songs by his older brother, Teta Lando.
His first album was recorded in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
He has published eight record works, in tribute to his brother Teta Lando.
They are, “Mãe de todos nós”, “Coisas da vida”, “Dilema”, “Luanda já foste linda”, “Renascente Esperança”, “Genuinamente”, “Letra chorada” and “Amizade Colorida”, in tribute to His brother Teta Lando, as well as DVD “Letra Chorada”.
