Huambo - The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment, Jomo Francisco Fortunato, has said financial resources have been made available to resume soon the construction work of the Cultural Centre of Huambo.
Started in 2011, the construction works of the infrastructure, included at the time in the Public Investment Program (PIP), stalled in 2014, allegedly due to the lack of money.
Speaking to the press at the end of a visit to the project, the minister assured that the financial constraints that hindered the resumption of works to complete the project have already been overcome.
Jomo Francisco Fortunato, who is on a three-day working visit to this region of the country, plans to guide the launch of the "Sustainable Land Management in the Central Region of Angola" and the Agro-ecological centers projects, in addition to witnessing the presentation of the Estufa-fria requalification project.
