Luanda - The Angolan film entitled “Kambas, Amigos para Sempre”, which addresses true friendship, written by filmmaker Simão Costa, will be presented in March, at Cine Atlântico in Luanda.
The information was provided to ANGOP Monday by the author of the work, having mentioned that the feature film portrays the story of two long-time friends, Fredy and Kwenda, whose friendship is put to the test in the search for a solution to a certain problem.
According to the filmmaker, the film, lasting 1h15 minutes, portrays the relationship between a friend whose mother is sick “between death” and, after knocking on several doors without success, he could only count on his unemployed friend.
The latter, noticing the other's distress, promises to help him, despite not knowing how. However, at the least expected moment, he finds a solution to help his friend.
According to Simão Costa, the film highlights the value of a real friendship.
The director has already participated in several films in Brazil and was part of the direction of the films,
“Além do Amor”, “Oprimida”, “Geração da banda” and the prospect of launching a soap opera entitled “Origens”, which will be displayed this year.
The film “Kambas, Amigos para Sempre” has already premiered in Brazil and will be shown in Angola for the first time, and should be shown in eight provinces. ART/CF/DOJ
