Luanda - The play entitled "Chiamaka - the story cannot be the same", which reflects male chauvinism in the family, was debuted, Wednesday, at the Instituto Guimarães Rosa, in Luanda, by the agency Art Sem Letra.

The cast brought the narrative of a family from two perspectives: in the first instance, it portrays a young woman called Chiamaka who suffers violence within the family.

In another reality, the women, who have experienced violence, seek to change history through actions that aim to make them vital in society.

According to the executive director of the Art Sem Letra agency, Kyaku Zambu, the objective is to draw society's attention to issues that violate women's rights.

In her opinion, these issues should be discussed at the table and sought to be resolved in favor of the dignity of the female universe.

In her opinion, the premiere made people think about the importance of giving women a voice to provide a healthy environment.

She also defended the rights of women within the family institution, in which they must be treated fairly and with dignity, giving them freedom of expression and hope.

The second part of the play "Chiamaka - the story cannot be the same" takes place today in the same location.

Art Sem Letra is a creative agency focused on designing and producing creative, cultural events and booking artists.

The group was born as a result of the global campaign of 16 days of activism against gender violence, promoted by the European Union. AMC/ART/CF/DOJ
