Luanda - Angola and Portugal Wednesday in Luanda signed an agreement for the Portuguese government to implement three master's degree courses in the area of training and management of teaching staff.

The agreement formalises the existing working relationship, making it possible to send Angolan students to Portugal, as well as providing 150,000 euros, on the part of the Camões Institute, to complement the project.

The Technical Management Unit of the National Staff Training Plan, linked to the Staff Bureau of the Presidency of the Republic, and the Camões Institute for Cooperation are bodies indicated by the two governments to articulate the implementation of the memorandum.

In this regard, the Portuguese Foreign Affairs secretary, Francisco André, believes that it is of utmost importance for Portuguese cooperation, taking into account the objectives of the strategic programme and cooperation with Angola and the United Nations.

For Francisco André, the memorandum also strengthens the ties of cooperation between the two countries.

In his turn, the director of the Office for Officials of the President of the Republic, Edson Barreto, noted that the agreement strengthened the cooperation link between the two countries and capacity building for Angolan officials.
