Luanda - The National Fuel Society of Angola (Sonangol E.P.) will partially dispose of its participatory interests in eight crude-oil exploration blocks.
The investments will be made in the blocks in which the national oil company acts as an operator or only as a partner of the contracting groups, informs the institution in a press note.
In the document, released last Friday night and which reached ANGOP Saturday, the Angolan multinational refers that the announcement of the launch of the tender will be made during the second quarter of this year.
The national oil company has this action as part of the strategy of reviewing and optimizing its portfolio of exploration and production assets, and intends to have the process concluded by the end of 2021.
