Mbanza-Kongo – The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) in the province of Zaire, seized early this week, in Mbanza-Kongo, a cistern truck loaded of fuel, heading to the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo.
Speaking to ANGOP, on Tuesday (Feb 04), the Zaire SIC's spokesperson, José Bernardo Bebeto, said that the truck was seized in the locality of Tuku, Mbanza-Kongo's outskirts, when the driver, coming from the country's capital, Luanda, was filling 1.020 liters of gasoline into several 35 liters drums belonging to several fuel smugglers.
On the occasion, the SIC seized the aforementioned 38 year Angolan truck driver, as well as three motorcycles.
The suspect and all means were sent to the Prosecution Office for legal procedures.
