Luanda - The head of Angola's commercial sector in Spain and Portugal, Paula Cordeiro, reaffirmed that the country is committed to developing tourism that balances economic growth that preserves the environment.
At the event called "New opportunities to invest in Africa", organized by the Euro Africa Centre in Barcelona (Spain), Paula Cordeiro said it is a common challenge to outline short-term tourism policies.
"We wanted to convey a different perspective of what our country offers, establishing a link between our rich culture, exceptional gastronomy and diversity of natural resources," Cordeiro said.
According to a press release sent to ANGOP today, Paula Cordeiro indicated that the forum served as a platform to discuss other investment opportunities and the challenges of attracting capital to the African continent, highlighting the lack of infrastructure and the enormous potential for resource production as the main obstacles.
The event held on February 21, 22 underlined the growing interest in investment possibilities in Angola and Africa in general, pointing to a future of mutual collaboration and sustainable development. CPM/AC/TED/AMP
